Geographic Areas

The Foundation focuses on underserved and overlooked communities in Southeast Michigan, as well as communities where engaged family and Board members live.

Within Michigan, the primary focus is Southeast Michigan in the following counties: Washtenaw, Lenawee, Livingston, Jackson, and Monroe.

Our geographic priorities in Michigan also include Emmet and Charlevoix Counties as current, priority communities for our Board and family members.

  • The Foundation generally does not support organizations focused on Detroit or Ann Arbor.

  • The Foundation will occasionally support state-wide or regional efforts in Michigan.

Additionally, our geographic focus includes communities where engaged family and Board members live, which currently includes:

  • Pima County, Arizona

  • Missoula & Flathead Counties, Montana
